Import coordination
Saudi food importers are responsible for holding the appropriate commercial registration and registering imported food products with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority. Prepacked food labelling must include Arabic; where another language appears, the information must match the Arabic. SPG coordinates producer documents and label information with the Saudi importer, but does not replace the importer or regulator.

Do you handle SFDA product registration?
Registration is held and submitted by the licensed Saudi importer. We prepare and coordinate the producer-side documents that the importer needs for that submission.
Can labels carry both Arabic and English?
Arabic information is required for prepacked food, and any additional language must carry identical information. Final artwork should be confirmed with your importer before printing.
